Our Philosophy We
believe that pregnancy and childbirth is a normal and special
part of a woman’s life. We
work in partnership with women to gain confidence in their own ability to
birth. Our
practice is based on the principles of informed choice and consent. We
share information, our knowledge and expertise to help you make the many
decisions you face in pregnancy. We
provide holistic care, respecting the individual social, cultural and
emotional needs and confidentiality of each woman and their family/whanau We
provide continuity of care with known
midwives
which has been shown to give the best outcomes for mother and baby. We
support the use of natural therapies in pregnancy and birth. |
